Office of Employee Relations Services
The Office of Employee Relations Services is responsible for the Institute's Equal Employment (EEO) program. The office monitors employment processes for equity and nondiscrimination, as well as, provides a forum for dispute resolution for complaints related to violations of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as amended and the Georgia Fair Employment Practices Act.
The office also provides strategic planning for diversity for the Institute. The office establishes and updates diversity policies, implements and monitors diversity programs and initiatives, reports to executive leadership on the progress towards diversity goals, and consults with campus units on diversity issues.

Ombuds Office
The Ombuds Office provides confidential and informal assistance for faculty and staff apart from the formal grievance procedures for resolving Institute-related concerns. The Ombuds Office focuses on early intervention and counseling, facilitation, and the exploration of options to resolve complaints. The office also provides mediation services to individuals or groups to resolve conflict.
