Title VI – Nondiscrimination in Federally Funded Programs of the Civil Rights Act of 1964
Prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color or national origin in federally funded programs and federally assisted program or any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.
The Office for Civil Rights is responsible for enforcing Title VI regulations.

NASA's Finamlal Assistance Programs
NASA provides financial assistance to a wide range of recipients including institutions of higher education, nonprofit organizations and private corporations. Under Federal civil rights law, all recipients of NASA financial assistance are prohibited from discriminating on the basisof race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age.
