Title IX, Education Amendments of 1972
Title IX is a federal law that prohibits sex discrimination against students and employees of educational institutions. The law requires educational institutions to maintain policies, practices and programs that do not discriminate against anyone based on sex.
The Office for Civil Rights is responsible for enforcing Title IX regulations.
Title IX Complaints alleging discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs or activities involving faculty or staff and/or student complaints involving faculty or staff will follow the Institute’s EEO Complaint Policy .
