With over four million residents, Atlanta is a thriving metropolis of ever-changing technology and world events. This is a city teeming with opportunity, expansion, and diversity. And, literally, at the heart of this growth is the Georgia Institute of Technology. People from all corners of the world now make Atlanta — and Georgia Tech — their home. We are a diverse, global community where everyone’s contribution and strength is vital. GA Tech stands firm in its belief that the further development of this institute rests in our willingness to embrace all backgrounds, talents, and ideas.

Georgia Tech has identified diversity management as one of its highest institutional priorities. Georgia Tech’s commitment and vision are thriving, and the Institute continues to develop new strategies and initiatives in the area of diversity management.

Georgia Tech has a Diversity Leadership Network comprised of the Institute Steering Committee on Diversity (ISCD), the Campus Diversity Reporting Committee and the Diversity Forum. The ISCD provides executive oversight and assures funding for diversity strategies, while the Campus Diversity Reporting Committee collects data and evaluates results of diversity initiatives. The Diversity Forum is primarily a student driven component focused on developing programmatic initiatives.
